Simplisafe app won't connect to base station

Feb 24, 2018 · I just received my Simplisafe system and am trying to get it installed. I plugged in the base station and that turned on just fine. Turned on the keypad, but it will not connect to the base station. I've tried removing the batteries from both the keypad and the base station but it still will not connect.

@df41, I have the newest version of the SimpliSafe system. Also happy to say that after all this time, I literally just received a notification on my phone that an update was pushed to my base station. After checking the app, the option to chime through the base station is there and it now works!
