Got out my jump pack and attached it and the car did not initially start. The voltage read up to 14.4 with the jump pack attached and the car still would not crank. Alternatively if you want an unused always on fuse, you can use fuse #20 (10 amp) but you will drain your battery.So, the major no-start issue WAS caused by a failed bushing on the shift cable. I see there was an announcement of a recall on this issue; not sure what the latest status is and what Ford is doing about it.
