Conan exiles best base location

Jul 16, 2017 · I will post a screenshot of an island which will make an excellent location for a first base. I usually start a base on an island near the center along the river. It's a decent sized island between two long ones. Just north of it is a large pond with a huge (minable rock) on the east side of it.

Both offer great access to thralls, iron, coal and adventure spots. I prefer the I5 location for access to the jungle, start collecting gold and silver. Your next move is going to be around level 30, after you get the 4-slot wheel. You'll want to set up a permanent base out by Klael's Fortress, or near the southern entrance to Sepermaru.Where is the best location to setup a first base for casual players in Conan Exiles? The small plateau is just a lower part of the hill, so for the location of resources both are fine. However, the hill itself provides more ground to build your base on, but its closer to the NCP camp. These locations have a 99.9% successful purge spawn rate. My base is NW of Sepermaru near the small lake with shale backs and the large 3 skull earwig looking boss. It’s elevated so purges have to come up stairs I build or up one side of the base.
